SoSoapy Handcrafted Soap

Re-purpose / Recycle / Reduce waste is our motto when it comes to packaging.  We use materials that are environmentally friendly and maximize airflow to continue curing soaps without too much surface exposure to sticky fingers.

Freshly made cold process soaps need to go through 4 – 6 weeks curing time which allows water to evaporate and fully completed the saponification process.  Just like wine, an aged soap is a better soap.  Time hardens the soap and makes it longer lasting soap.

Hot process soaps were forced saponification process with the heat method, and require less curing time (So Soapy standard is 1 week).  However, the longer curing time only enhances the quality of the soap.

Storing it in an open, cool and dry area to prevent sogginess.   Place the handcrafted soap in a draining soap dish in between uses to extend the soap life.
